They’re a bunch of crooks who have been successfully sued in the past for their unannounced price gouging practices.
I’m considering my legal options but I’ll post about that later.

A letter from the Crooks:
Dear Greg,
Thank you for your email.
We are sorry to hear your concern regarding your subscription cancellation but I will kindly assist you.
I have reviewed your account and see that you have an Automatic Renewal purchased a 12-month membership on 12/02/2022 (MM/DD/YYYY) to be billed in single payment. The total price was $718.80 + sales tax of $172.50 has failed.
Please note that, I am advising you to allow your card to process the payment. Further, I confirm that we have turned off the automatic renewal of your subscription. It will now expire at the end of the current subscription term, on 12/03/2023 (MM/DD/YYYY).
After your Premium Membership expires, your account will return to the status of a Basic Membership, but it will not be automatically removed from our platform. You have the possibility to use our service as a free member, or if you wish to delete your profile from our system, you can do so at any time within your profile settings after your membership expires.
We hope that you will take a moment to let us know why you are choosing to leave the eharmony community at the end of your current subscription so that we can address any concerns you might have.
