It stopped working when I replaced the brake master cylinder so I probably bumped something.

Ok, here's what the problem was.
When i replaced the brake master cylinder I must have damaged something called the "cruise and no-stop switch", I think they called it.
We replaced that and the cruise control worked again.
Sweet. I hate not having cruise control on long trips.
